Rusty was born in Port Lavaca, Tx in 1978, but raised in the mountains of Colorado, between Canon City and Westcliff. As a child, he remembers listening to his dads records of Waylon Jennings and Marty Robbin. From an early age, Rusty knew he preferred Western Music. When he turned 21, Rusty got his first break. He recorded a demo tape for RMCMA Records, also known as Rocky Mountain Country Music Association. The first two songs Rusty recorded were " Not Worth Loving You" and "I Dedicate This Song to You" written by Greg Waldrop. The songs were put on a Multi Artist cd and shipped off to radio stations. Shortly thereafter, Rusty recorded his first cd, "Hittin the Road." Since then, Rusty has finished his second cd, "Echos from the Past." The new cd is a collection of old cowboy songs that are close to 100 years old. Rusty wrote one song for the CD titled "Just an ol Cowboy". You can find Rusty singing in any state or national competitions, benefits, paying gigs, or on the back porch with family and friends.
Poet Fred Engel looks at things from a cowboy point of view because that's how he sees 'em best. A member of the Western Music Association and Cowboy Poets of Utah, Engel lives in the mountains of Northern Utah.
They really are brothers; Greg, Wes, and Ray English all born and raised in Texas. The brothers have been performing together in various combinations since the mid 1970s, bringing together finely-tuned vocal harmonies that only family members can achieve. The English Brothers Western Entertainers have partnered with Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hill Country resort to create a memorable evening of mouth waterin' vittles and the best family friendly hand clappin', knee slappin' music and comedy in the Lone Star State.
